Why me?
I've learned leadership the hard way. Like so many of you, I've had to lead under pressure without a manual. I've lead four companies, advised Fortune 500 executives as a McKinsey consultant, and led a large government agency as an elected official - winning four national innovation awards along the way. I also volunteer as a firefighter, handling structure fires, car crashes, and cardiac arrests.
And at various points, I've struggled to lead well: to build trust fast with a new team, to make clear decisions under pressure, to give feedback that actually lands, and to stay calm when everyone's looking to me for the answer.
But over many years, many roles, and many clients and mentees, I've developed frameworks and systems that have helped me - and hundreds of others (see some testimonials below!) - lead with clarity and confidence.
Now, I provide management advice daily on social media to an audience of more than 1.2 million people, averaging a million+ views a day.
